Birch has a behavior that could be considered hurt and resentful from past experiences in her life. She has the impression that she's been treated unfairly by the people who she knows.

Birch causes pain and suffering onto other because of her own mistreatment. She doesn't feel much remorse for it and takes on a blunt, severe tone with others

[ O U T C A S T ]
This Imperial has been frequently rejected by anyone or any groups she comes across and she's been getting used to it. This could partly be because of her rough demeanor and treatment of the clan members.

Birch didn't usually stay for longer than a while in one place since she wasn't well received by any of the inhabitants of the clans she visited. It might be attributed to the way she treated them but she decides to be willfully blind to the aspects which cause her to leave.

She eventually came upon a clan that charmed her in a way; however, the people were all the same. Her personality remained the same and the treatment she got back was the same. Although there was something making her stay, another female imperial named Jayeon. Birch desperately wanted to be mated with her, striving to impress though lacking and falling short. Following the typical pattern, Birch was rejected in favor of a female pearlcatcher named Taiboku. Despite the rejection, she stayed in the clan, at least she could still spend time with Jayeon that way.
