Laughing gaily, he treks through the Mire without a thought to the noise he makes, the vulnerabilities he opens as he tosses his head back, closing his eyes to bask in the rare beam of sunlight breaking through the dense foliage. Unsurprising, then, that the swift scythe of the kamaitachi meets his flank without resistance. His laughter dies as he looks to the wound, brow furrowed. "Well, that's unfortunate," he notes, and in one smooth motion he kicks the unfortunate creature away, its blade dripping with an odd blackness that's not quite blood. He sighs, twisting his head to note the damage: the dripping black seems to defy gravity as it seeps upward, joining and darkening the nearest stripe along his back. "I should probably get that looked at," he sighs, then shrugs, whistling as he continues on his way.

★ VORANT (his Bogus Manamonger companion) The odd creature taught Ahnvahr how to channel his arcane magic to augment his strength and healing capabilities, though the techniques have left Ahnvahr oddly marked.

♥ ZAAN (his best friend) Ahnvahr and Zaan operate on a similar wavelength that lets them get along quite happily, laughing and playing together no matter the circumstances they find themselves in.
