PoisonClaw doesn't know her parents. She only knows that they live somewhere out there - and she hopes they're fine, healthy and happy.
Other dragons always told her that she can't be a pirat. That pirates are long extincted.
But PoisonClaw always wanted to be a pirated nonetheless. She was taken to several hospitals and adjudged as mentally ill.
The clinic that should heal her couldn't. Because she never was ill. She knew she was extraordinary. But she just wanted to be a pirat. Be called a pirat. Live as a pirat. Not necessarily on a ship at sea, not necessarily steal or marauder. Her work doesn't matter to her. She wants to be what she feels like. Some dragons call themselves witches while just growing herbs and, yeah, feeling like a witch. PoisonClaw feels like a pirat. Can't she be a pirat? Be called a pirat?
She fled. With her great skills in looting, skedaddling and outwitting she left the clinic behind one day - only snitching a cloak and taking back her pirate outfit - and made her way into a new, unknown life.
But well... It's not that easy to survive. Life is hard. If you don't have anything at all it's even harder. Soon she was at a loss. Entirely desperate she threw her head into a window - harming herself and causing herself a thick scar at the eye.
She was at the end of her tether. That was when she tumbled into the Clan. Thinking it would be all over now she collapsed. But the dragons here helped her to recover, healed her wounds and gave her food. PoisonClaw was overwhelmed.
Soon the others found out about her "tic". But to her surprise nobody had a problem with it at all. Nobody glared at her or laughed in her face. Thy only laghed with each other not at each other. It was fine to be what one feels like - even to be strange - at this clan. Of course she wanted to stay. And she was allowed to.
PosionClaw now helps with her special skills whenever it's necessary or whenever she can be of some use anywhere.
