A stoic, occasionally aggressive dragon, Camaxtli is the head hunter of the clan. He is a very powerful god along with Vesta, and he is one of the four who helped shaped the world. As a gift for Vesta when he joined the clan, he created fire, and she became enthralled with it’s ability to warm and protect the lair. Camaxtli has the ancient ability to read fate, though the ability is only extended to hunting. He can tell where the best locations to hunt are based on what he sees in brief visions, and what prey is available in what area. As a result, he helps coordinate hunting expeditions on a day-to-day basis, and he also participates in the hunts himself. He is renowned in the clan to be the best hunter, and the wall of his room are lined with the furs and pelts of animals he has caught. Camaxtli is an excellent strategist and is always consulted before a major battle. He is a strong fighter and has a sharp wit, always thinking like the enemy to prevent slip-ups in a fight. He spends days poring over charts and notes, his brow furrowed in concentration while he thinks of the best plan of attack. He leads troops of dragon into battle himself, and his fire breath is a powerful weapon against opposing armies. When he isn’t fighting or hunting, Camaxtli is helping guard the lair with Vesta, and he lights watch fires at the four highest corners of the lair. He patrols the steep-sided walls of the clan, watching for potential enemies or threats from afar. He is good friends with Vesta and shares her enthusiasm for fire and when push comes to shove, he’ll even help her get the hatchlings to safety when they’re under attack.
