Kali seems severely unimpressed by my lack of fighting prowess. It appears I must not prolong the start of my training much longer, if I hope to keep even a whiff of her interest.

The clan is abuzz about the discovery of the Ghostlight Ruins, each fighter hoping to bring home more impressive loot than the last. I had planned to practice in better known areas, but perhaps... perhaps this is my chance. Yes. Aya and Talarev are particularly keen on investigating the possible new trade route. I shall disguise myself in festival garb and follow them at a safe distance the next time they head out.

Blasted! Those damn temporary trainees keep swarming all over the place, getting in the way. I haven't been able to learn a thing, everyone's so busy! I'll have to wait till things cool down... The ruins did look a bit scary anyway.

Finally those no-good do-good exaltees have cleared out, and Talarev and Aya have agreed to let me tag along. I better practice my mean face.

Been training diligently and I think Kali may noticed. She's invited me to accompany her to the Roost this Jamboree! I don't know how much it's my progress and how much it's her desire to hunt down the giant Rocs we've been hearing about, but still! Shredding together in the moonlight, viscera and claws everywhere... I can't wait!
