Kwanliso is one of Alcatraz’s higher-ranking aides, helping him with the business of concocting diseases, wickedness and performing various experiments and tests. She is one of the Brewers that helped out in testing Odi’s immortality, and had great fun ‘killing’ the Wraith in various creative ways. However as a result Odi doesn’t like her much, not that that is really a surprise or even strange. Kwan remains fascinated. Because of her work she spends most of her time in the wing of the Flymouth called the Plague Works. In there huge cauldrons simmer over ever blazing fires, tubes and vials cover the wall in a confusing display of toxic liquids. There is not really any reason to the way things are stored in the Plague Works, because neither Alcatraz nor any of his helpers possess any form of reason. The Plague Works is a chaotic mess of moral corruption, and one would not expect to see a nature dragon steeped in something so clearly Plague. However she does have her own little garden with all manner of dangerous and mutated flowers, mushrooms and trees. For a nature dragon Kwan does posses a startling affinity for decay, and she is very enthusiastic about her work. She loves to mix up the two elements most important to her -- Nature and Plague -- and watch the often volatile results. Coupled with an interest in mushrooms and flesh-eating plants she creates some rather monstrous things, and is amused by they way they blur the lines between animal and plant. Unlike most of her plague-aligned colleagues Kwan is absolutely enthralled by the concept of reanimated dead, and has several shambling corpses working for her to maintain her garden. They are truly resurrected, but instead controlled by a fungus acting like a parasite. Despite being a low-blood and not having the largest of magical reserves Kwan has no trouble manipulating plant life, not even in the shade-tainted halls of the Flymouth. Of course the Whisperer imprisoned in the Flymouth was originally a nature dragon, which might have something to do with it. Kwan is Elmina’s daughter, which you probably wouldn’t have guessed because the two are not very alike at all. And Kwan honestly looks mostly like her father, whom she of course never got to know since Elmina didn’t really care for him. She was born and hatched while he mother was sent with Dolor and a few other guards to search out the Ungrowth. Kwan’s personality is loud, if not deafening. She will interrupt and speak over you, and absolutely doesn’t have the patience to wait for her turn to speak. Her enthusiasm and excitement is a palpable thing, like a thick viscous shroud around her. Kwan is perhaps best described as manic. |

ABILITIES: -  Phytomagy : Kwanliso has just enough magical power to influence the world around her through her element. She prefers growing thorny, deadly or otherwise potentially harmful things. And mushrooms of course.-  Alchemist : Because she can’t do plague-magic Kwan had to resort to a different way of brewing diseases. Concocting various dangerous poisons and deadly tonics seemed like a decent alternative, and she can of course still help stir the giant cauldrons.
