Briar was brought into the clan as an egg. She was found by Ziya on his first ever outing to find supplies for his newly claimed home. . Even as a baby Briar was half his size, so for once he was happy to have the older dragon Muppet's help. He sees Briar as a younger sister and he can be over protective of her, though even he gets a little annoyed when she starts to mimic him too much. They are still incredibly close however and even with all of the new and dear friends that he as made, he still relies on her when he has to confide something that he wouldn't dare tell anyone else.
Briar is playful, and hates to be left alone, so she always is tagging along with someone. She is also a big fan of tasting all of the interesting things that get brought home, which is why she's a little bit chubby. When she does have to be on her own though, she enjoys learning how to make new and interesting sounds or inventing new games to play to keep herself entertained.
Briar's sleeping area is on the large mainlevel of the cave, carved out in a nook that Muppet made just for her. She tends to sleep hanging from the ceiling in there, and has an odd personal horde of items mostly made of of lost game pieces, various small colorful bits of junk and things that Ziya has brought home for her from his trips.
