A mysterious outcast. His name has been lost to time. He leaves enigmatic messages scrawled across walls wherever he goes, often in the blood of an exotic beast. Some say they have a prophetic significance; others say they are the ramblings of a dragon in mourning. More than a few fear that he will transform into an Emperor one day and wreak havoc across the Rotrock Rim.
Septentrione calls him "Fafnir" or "Aeolus," but he does not ever answer.

Named after a fearsome dragon of legend, Fafnir is a supposedly graceful and quiet warrior.
In truth, he is a bloodthirsty giant with little self-preservation. Luckily for him, most enemy hordes are felled with two or three sweeps of his claws... but he will pay for it eventually.
His hobbies include painting the lair, more often than not using the blood of his fallen foes as a reagent in the paint. They say it's to attract animals to be slaughtered for food and ward off beastclans through sheer fear.

His wife, Diode, insists that he's not so scary on the inside.
