Tempest was bartered for by Hirari while she was visiting an allied clan making a delivery. The hatchling was slated to be exalted upon adulthood and the grown Skydancer took an immediate interest in the energetic child. The clan welcomed him with open arms, not minding Hirari returning with a package of her own. The hatchling followed Hirari everywhere she went for the first week of his life, before becoming bored with all the paperwork she constantly worked on. Only when she would leave on deliveries did his eyes gleam with excitement. Tempest the Zephyr, as he named himself, declared that he would become the best courier in all of Sorineth. At every chance he got, he flew with Hirari to the many corners of the planet and in secret trained his wings by flying against strong winds and storms. As time passed, his wings grew immensely strong and he was able to weather all but the Stormcatcher's strongest winds. His hard work and determination allowed for Hirari to retire as courier so that she could focus on her paperwork full time. Tempest still trains every day, improving his speed and stamina, also hoping to impress that charming Skydancer that captivated him from day one.
