Biography

Few dared to challenge him anymore. His reign was absolute, only to be trumped by the Plaguebringer herself. He had wandered the Contagion for decades and in time, had decayed to the point that his skin fell off in patches. He surveyed the clan with dead eyes, eyes as red as his bloody scales. No one challenged him any longer. For a dragon to have held his own for so long in the harsh wilderness, he was something to be feared. And respected.

He viewed himself as a kind of shaman, and spent much of his time on the rim of the Wyrmwound, learning from his Great Teacher how to spread her glorious message. He took no official mate, rather he waited until females came to him, wanting his blessing both over themselves and their clutches. Many of his children now served the Unholy Mother, and from time to time he assisted them in the care taking of the Rim.

He glanced once more over the hustle and bustle of the clan and felt something akin to pride in his dark, empty heart. It was all good. No one challenged him any longer.84.png
