Oriens can often be seen zipping around the caverns, restoring order with a shard of hard charcoal held between her lips and a massive, smudgy parchment scroll clasped in her arms.

Oriens was purchased as an indentured servant from the auction house by Argne to serve as handmaid and messenger for the matriarch. She is the voice behind the curtain; the force that makes the cogs move. Besides attending to the every need of her mistress, the fiery lady overlooks every import and export, every immigrant and emigrant, every harvest, every political, diplomatic and social event. She appoints positions, manages finances, and deals out both punishment and promotion. No other dragon but Argne himself undertakes as many tasks or has so much influence on the future of the clan.
