Amethyst (ah-meh-this't)
Status: Hunter (Team Frey)
Joined the clan as an adult Ridgeback.


Amethyst's impressive battling skills have landed her a spot on Freyr's Coliseum hunting team. There are definitely perks to being a member of the clan's top team, but the biggest drawback is the consistent venue of choice for said team; not only are the Kelp Beds infested with Water elementals, but the whole place is also... underwater. As a fire-born Ridgeback, she definitely would rather be hunting anywhere else in Sorneith.

Loyal and patient, Amethyst always weighs her clan and team mates before all else.

Amethyst was never too fussed over familiars... That is until the day she met a certain giant purple turtle. The Hawksbill Goliath was yet another powerful shade-touched creature who was wreaking havoc in the hunting venue - a dangerous thing for both dragons and beasts alike, it had to be stopped.
It wasn't long before Amethyst struck the final blow, and the turtle disappeared into a cloud of white smoke as it fell... but when the smoke cleared, it was clear that the turtle didn't vanish. The Shade had been driven from the body and mind of the wounded turtle, but the hunting trio were left with a decision to make: Heal the giant creature, or let it die and ensure that it will never terrorize the pools again?

As the injured Goliath stared into her soul, Amethyst knew that she wouldn't be able to deny care to this poor victim of the Shade.

Thankfully, the familiar was grateful for the dragons' help - it had no reason to fight. With the Shade's maddening grip vanquished, the turtle was free to go back to its peaceful life in the sea...
But like Amethyst, it too has a loyal heart, and decided to stay with the dragon who saved its life.
