Jewel, the damsel
Beautiful - Enchanting - Elegant
”Should I make your pulse rise…..or…..stop?"
Jewel is the mistress of the citadel, residing in one of the towering rooms at the very top. From the very beginning, she was a loved child, looked dearly upon the clan she once belonged to. After a while, she grew tired of her peers. The same ones every day. This clan….it didn’t like change.

This smaller and more unknown fact about Jewel is her malicious behaviour. She dares not show it, afraid her appearance will cause others to be wary of her. A mirror once gazed upon her so lovingly and said “such a beautiful sweet. You must have a beautiful heart.” But she did not. Her heart was cold, relentless, cruel. But perhaps, this was to her advantage.

Like all dragons who find the citadel, the awake in the mists in a dream. She looked at the cascading mists in the distance and curiously flew towards it. The fishspine reef was oddly dry and the ground cracked. Almost like a mirror shattering to pieces. Nevertheless, she surged onward, inspecting every inch of the pale corals that defended the mists. Jewel found it, bewildering. How could such mists exist in the Land of a Thousand Currents. Extending her claw, she waved about the mists, to her surprise, she couldn’t pull her claw out. But instead of struggling, she embraced the mists, letting the cloudy vapour encase her body till she was through it. And there, she saw the towering citadel, Bloodmoon standing guard. Jewel approached, cautiously. If she was this close to finding an adventure, she wasn’t about to let it slip.

Using her knowledge of magic, she easily sneaks her way into the inner corridor. She looks behind, checking to ensure Bloodmoon hadn’t caught her when she came face to face with Atropos. Surprised, she darts back, snarling at the curious spiral. She couldn’t help but look into those enchanting green eyes and falls asleep. When wakes up, she’s come to the horrible realisation.

She’s trapped. And behind her, a glistening spiral with enchanting eyes watches in awe.
