Bucky
The Blue-eyed Blazer
He may have been born under the Tidelord and the Water Flight, but Bucky doesn't let that dampen his parade. He has a fiery spirit in more ways than one.
Bucky was a rather curious child, with a burning passion for adventure. He'd visit all over the Sea of a Thousands Currents by himself, braving the sea's pull as he explored some of the most dangerous locations. After some time, the young Coatl began to grow tired of his enviroment. Most of it was water, and what wasn't water he had explored. He even tried deep sea diving before, but found he had no skill in the sea.
On one eventful day, during his coming of age, Bucky snuck off to the Ashfall Waste, seeking a new thrill to fuel his desires. He had soared over the lands he once called home, and when he finally reached the territory of the Fire Flight it felt right. The heat... The danger.. It practicaally called out to him! He had barely started to explore when a trail of ember wisps, dancing in the heat, caught his eye. He bounced towards them, but they moved away. He continued to follow, gleefully seeing where this would lead him.
He didn't see the chasm below him.
He tumbled down, knocing his head and falling unconcious for some time. When he awoke, his enviroment seemed like some kind of ruins, deep below the surface. Lava lit the cavern below the surface, consuming the ground and leaving little ground to walk. Bucky took to the air, flying over the cavern's floor and taking notes on this hidden place from above.
Eventually, the curious Coatl discovered a stone altar, surrounded by a moat of lava. He flew down, and landed just in front of it. The altar itself seemed to radiate heat magic, it's power almost too crushing for Bucky to even stand near. He laid a single hand upon it, in curiosity, but immediately it felt like his body was burning all over. He balled himself up, screaming in agony. The pain became too immense for him to stand, and he fainted once more.
Chattering voices and a blinding light was what greeted Bucky when he awoke. He no longer felt the searing agony before he collapsed, and for that he was grateful. Heaving himself up, he peered around, and was shocked when he noted where he once. The Sundial Terrance... The discovery he had re-emerged in Light after blacking out shocked him to his core. Travelling from the Ashfall Wastelands to the Sunbeam Ruins while he had blacked out... How was this possible? He saw an opportunity, however. Being here in the Sunbeam Ruins was something he had always dreamed of. He had only ever considered visiting the Sunbeam Ruins, but never did he believe he would actually do so.
After some stumbling, he found himself in the Mirrorlight Prominade. He was always curious about the way the light reflected on the area. However, when he looked upon his appearance in mirror, he noticed his body had been blessed with a fiery glow, and embers much like the ones he had previously chased how lingered around him. However, Bucky wasn't worried or panicked. He was excited! This was a new discovery, most likely based on that relic. As his excitement and passion flared up, so did the embers and his glow. This caught the attention of a shadow Coatl who radiated with magic, who pulled him away in private. Introducing herself as Persephone, she explained to Bucky that, much like her, he was blessed with power supposedly untold and that as long as he stayed by her side and swore to help her however necessary, she would help train his power. With this, Bucky became one with the Clan Scintilliant Skies.
he Coatl duo grew attached to each other, and became partners in crime. Bucky discovered Persephone's plan, and the duo swore to rule in allegiance, and to never stray from the plan. With this, Bucky's passion and Persephone's grace, Bucky was sure that the excitement of ruling wTould belong to him and Persephone.
