Background: Artoria used to be a ranger. Then one day she got into a fight she could not win and nearly lost her life. Her dear animal companion did not survive and Artoria was heartbroken. She put aside her bow and retired. Until she met a necromancer who offered her a way to get her dear friend back along with giving her a new purpose in life. Artoria accepted and once she knew the basics she joined the Zephyrim to further hone her new powers in a safe environment. Task within the clan: She calls herself a scourge: a necromancer specialised in summoning shades to her and her allies in battle. As a scourge Artoria works to keep the balance between life and death. She hunts down those who abuse their ability to control death, who'd use it for their own gain. Associates: As a fellow necromancer Llawenydd occassionally works with Artoria, but mostly she prefers to work alone. |

Personality:
Artoria is a stoic character. Having faced death, losing her dearest friend...she finds it hard to find much joy in things these days. But she is trying to heal, it just takes a long time. She prefers to stay on the sidelines and just watch. Though lately she can be persuaded to join small gatherings or short journeys as long as she doesn't have to do the talking. Family and Friends: Artoria finds it difficult to make friends and consequently has none. She does have her familiar, now brought back from the dead after the deadly fight, but she has had it since she became a ranger years ago. Her familiar isn't quite the same as it was in life, but it still has retained some of its personality it used to have. It's better than nothing and it's happy to be around its friend, chirping merrily as it did when it was alive. |
