... 'Alliance'? Oh c'mon, with a name like that, do you really wonder why almost everyone here keeps to themselves?
Yeah yeah, I get it, the Alliance is "intended for the purpose of cooperation and mutual protection between individual dragons with vastly different goals".
But these dragons are who I grew up with! They're my family.

Anyway, I'm Cry, and I'm a scout for the Guard division. They say I'm great at sensing danger, which kind of puts my gift a little bluntly, if you ask me. I have a fine sense for things that are out of the ordinary. Which can be a bit of a hassle to deal with when you live on FOCAL POINT, of all places.
So I really didn't have a choice but to perfect it, right? Gotta tell actual trouble apart from the regular weirdness.
Makes me very useful for my clan.

I like the Guard work. The Science division is a bunch of self-serving dragons completely out of touch with the reality of their consequences, and the folks in Jurisdiction act like they're above the rest of us. The Guard offers the closest thing to camaraderie you can get here, and since I actually give a damn about my clanmates, that's where I ended up working.
