Being abandoned shortly after hatching, she wandered the Mirrorlight Promenade only knowing to eat and sleep. The then Guardian forced herself to hunt after days of crying for help. She was naturally amazed by the strange creatures in the forests of the Light realm, and lived on a delicacy of Sweetpuffs and Glowing Pocket Mice. Coral survived on her own long enough to reach adulthood, and despite the simple life she had made herself with in the Mirrorlight Promenade, she wondered what was just over the horizon.

Not long after, she discovered a village on the coast of The Beacon of the Radiant Eye. There she met the charming, young Guardian Crimson. A friendship formed between the two, on a bargain of learning more about the origins of one another (both were quite nosy as young adults). Coral was fascinated by the rather simple culture of Crimson's village, and he was impressed by her abilities to survive in the wild. Although she did have to learn how to trade and barter with other dragons, since Crimson was afraid she might diminish the populations of creatures from her hunting tendencies.

With short notice, the two decided to run away. The young Guardians settled by the edge of the Light realm's forests, and built a cozy home for themselves and their unborn hatchlings. Their first litter was of two dragons, a son Pip and daughter Breeze. The quaint family made ties with neighboring families, and all decided to establish a Clan. The families lived in peace in the Clan, and their ranks steadily grew. Coral and Crimson had taken position as matriarch and patriarch, respectively. But a storm was brewing, and the Clan was about to face the thunder.

At the loss of Crimson, Coral was utterly heartbroken. Not only did he help her in adjusting to a less primitive way of life, but she cared for and loved him deeply. In her grief, she became close to a valued member of the Clan, Angell. Coral realized she was ready to move on, and Angell and she raised several litters. Through a magic scroll, the Guardian transformed into a Nocturne. While initially spooked, Coral quickly adjusted to this breed change. The forests of the Sunbeam Ruins proved not enough for the growing Clan, and they rehabilitated to the Starfall Isles in the Starwood Strand. At the strike of one dawning day, Coral was giving the daily prayer to Lightweaver. A dragon rose from the rising sun and flew towards her. She knew who it was before he approached.

Crimson and she embraced, and for a moment Coral was ready to run away with him again. Soon after Crimson's return, Angell mysteriously disappeared, thus reinstating Crimson as the Clan's patriarch. Several dragons were unhappy with the return of Crimson, and rebelled against them. They set a blazing fire to the village to strike fear, and the Clan was forced to leave their home in the Starfall Isles. At the suggestion of the Clan's advisors, they relocated to the The Windswept Plateau. Now residing in the Reedcleft Ascent, Coral kept her Clan together through sheer determination to save her loved ones.

Having moved from Light to Arcane to Wind, Coral decided to give her Clan a name: Celestevus, representing the homes they lost. Her leadership may be shaky, with her being unfair at times with younger kin, but Coral means well and only wishes to see Celestevus prosper. With the help of Crimson and her advisors, Coral faces each day with hope. The rebels who burned down their home in the Starwood Strand may rival with them, but Coral never lets her guard down. She's motherly to all dragons, and is still the best hunter in the Clan. She yearns to understand everyone, and no one would question her will to do the right thing.
