A fierce and strong-willed mirror dragon, Zyrath was abandoned by her clan long ago, left to die adrift an ice floe among the Southern Icefields. Instead, she survived, and found her way to the Crystalspine Reaches, nesting in a stone hollow there and shivering alone. There she met her mate, a timid yet manic fae named Qryno

The two forged their own clan, Zyrath leading the tribe and supplying the clan's basic needs, while her mate attended to their den and the logistics of the operation, making sure they always had enough food and finding trade partners with other dragons across Sornieth, allowing their tribe to slowly grow and flourish.

Zyrath is fierce and independent. While not as inherently vicious as some of the other mirror dragons, but will protective her clan with tooth and claw, to her last breath. She summons arcane energies to augment her own physical prowess, never willing to even let a single member of her clan come to harm

The queen trains any dragons going to serve the Arcanist personally, and often oversees the training of all other dragons. More often than not she ends up teaching hands-on, unable to remain patient as an instructor standing on the sidelines
