Biography

Feykro Vuldiik

i do not have much of a tale to tell, so i shall simply make what i can of it.

i was young when my parents sent me off to a new clan. they gave me a parting gift from a family of Stranglers. he has accompanied me since i parted. the journey was uneventful and short. when i arrived at the location, i only stopped thinking it a pretty view, and would have continued to walk had a handsome nocturnal not called to me. he walked out of the woods to my right (i was following the river, and was standing on the odd dam) and jumped onto the small island in the middle of the large pond; called me by my first and last name. and i nodded, a confused frown forming upon my face. he smiled and spoke clearly. "welcome to the Driftwood Hallow! i am Poisoned Shadows, the architect of this beautiful place. follow me, and i'll show you to the camp." i gasped and almost screeched in alarm when he jumped up and flew towards the hill wall to my left. i could swear my familiar almost died of laughter when i stood in shock to see him fly through the wall! after a good while of stuttering and a shove from Sniper (my familiar's name), i got up and slowly flapped forwards. i stuck my hand through the lair of vines, before floating through them. Poison watched with glee the whole while, before nodding and explaining.
"i have a stone grey wall illusion behind the vines. if it weren't for them, you'd only see a blank, grey wall. anyways, here is the hallow! a very small abode for us, but that is simply because we have yet to investigate the cave back here. say, what is your age?"

"i am three hundred and twenty years of age..."

"You are younger in appearance. oh, i should warn you, do not go into the cave back there. it has a nasty infection of giant-giant- yellow jumper spiders."

"oh-ok... i'll make sure to steer clear of there..." He nodded and i could see in his eyes that he could tell i was a timid one. i simply hoped he would not make a comment of it...
after chatting for a bit, we headed to the top of the hill, and i enjoyed my very first (of many) consuming time.

a month had passed, and we'd made progress. Vokun was our official potion brewer and alchemist, seeing that she knew the plants in the area. with a brutal poison, and many wounds, we slowly rid the cave of the monstrous creatures. i did not know why the others were saddened sometimes at the thought of the cave. i waited impatiently for Celestial Flight. i was unusually exited today, and could simply not wait on her. she finally was ready, and i dove into the cave. the wide tunnel turned left abruptly, and went down. it split into a straight path to the right, and a slope down again to the left. we had yet to discover down the left, so we went right. we had finally clearing out the right wing's (the straight path to the right) jumper nest! i swiveled left and right, and finally went into the large den for the first time. it was a huge dirt cave, probably fifty feet from one side to the other; fifty high, and fifty wide. other than the disgusting goldenrod ooze from the spiders, there was nothing i noticed-accept for a shattered, sparkling blue thing. i walked over curiously, to see a shattered egg. all out of breath, celestial rushed in and grumbled a warning to me, but stopped abruptly when spotting the egg. sorrow filled her eyes, but she nodded. out of my wits, i finally asked a question which had bothered me for some time.
"wh.... why do you all appear to be distressed at times when we speak of the caves?"
seeing my confusion with ease, she frowned, answering with a question:
"you mean to say... you've never been told? Vokun and Arcane lost an egg to these monsters.."

"i... it's g-good to know..." well, i don't know what i was expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. just as celestial began to speak again, a loud, monotone call erupted from the hallow. it echoed down to where we were, and signaled that something was amiss. startled, we hurried up with the speed that it took to come down here. i heard joyful laughter and pitiful squeals, and was overjoyed to see the eggs slowly cracking open! Vokun and Arcane watched with joy, as three energetic, male nocturnals hatched from their nests! they squeaked and chirped, tumbling around one another as they grew accustom to their surroundings. their parents leaned over them, licking all of the grit and junk away. bittersweet joy overcame them, and although it was unfortunate to hatch a nest of the same gender and breed, we relished them happily. at this moment, i felt truly accepted into the clan.

(the story will continue on Dark River's information form)

age: 320 years.

bio: she came from a quiet, loving home (really freaky for a spiral). she was sent away at a young age and wandered camp to camp till she came back home, fifty years after she was sent away. a hundred years later, she goes out to seek a camp which has invited her to join.

role: leader of the healing department, politician, guard, familiar caretaker, nursery leader.

mate: crimson

familiar's name: sniper

familiar's info: sniper got his name from his amazing eyesight and aim. he will shot his enemies with paralysis thorns, and trap them to the ground. he has watched over Avya for a while now, and helps her to protect herself and hunt.
