Takoda recommended that I start keeping a log of sorts. I can't imagine of what. Or for whom this actually serves a purpose. Thus far it has just been the three of us, one of whom can't even read anymore. For that.. we've been tending to the lingering effects. For the most part the bleeding has stopped, and the blisters have stopped weeping. She describes odd phenomena that sound similar to phantom limb syndrome, but with her vision? Says she sees things occasionally and describes it as a "glitch in the matrix." None of us can put a finger on the phrase and why we recognize it but.. we know what she means. What's more unsettling is that none of us remember much at all. Our earliest memories are just... waking up. Here. I think it should feel more like amnesia than it does - hazy and strained, like there's a fog clouding your memories. This is different, it's so, I don't know. Its too clean. Like there were never any memories in the first place. But that can't be the case; we all have muscle memories for performing tasks, we all speak a common language somehow, have our own personalities and idiosyncrasies - things that develop over a lifetime.

I... digress. It isn't important now. Takoda has also asked that I procure food for our little band. I can't argue, of the three of us I've clearly had the easiest time providing for myself, given that we've been here for about the same amount of time but I'm the only one who doesn't look perpetually weary. I don't know how Tiva survived as long as she did without being able to see. She's lucky Takoda found her when he did. I don't even know why I'm doing what he asks me to. I suppose it's because, of the three of us, he's the only one that acts like a leader. It's easier to just follow him, act like a group, provide for one another.

That, and I was getting sick of the loneliness. I think sticking around will do me some good.
