Venus's claws barely touched the ground as she raced to the next door. "Oh! This is so much fun!" Realizing her companions were several paces behind, she stopped along the path. "Come on! It's already dark. We don't have much time."



Cosmos caught up first. "Relax. We have plenty of time." She smoothed the feathers of her Fawkes costume. "Where's Mercury? I can't believe we thought the invisibility cloak was a good idea."



"I'm right here!" Mercury called from just behind them. "I'll try to talk more so you know where I am."
"Venus should have been the one in the cloak. Her chattering would have helped us find her," Cosmos said.
"You do a fair bit of talking yourself," Venus said indignantly, but she she was smiling. "Look! We're almost at the door." The trio ran up to the doorway.
"Trick or treat!" they chorused.
