Proteus is pretty laid back and calm even under stressful situations. His vast knowledge may be a curse rather than a blessing when Skulduggery bombards him with questions he finds himself compelled to answer. When he's not having his ear chewed off you're likely to find him accompanying other clan members in light yet comedic conversations, especially with Holly. Despite his massive size he's a big softy with a heart of gold.
