In terms of unbroken Imperial bloodlines descended from the Lightweaver's First Generation, Akrel has traced his lineage back to Runghuro, Nahlia, Ferro, Jaffa, GloomEmber, Lusewing, Skydancer, Thiara, Ishtar, Antares, Cygnus, Malice, and Maeve. He can be a bit of an elitist and has great pride in his breed, choosing to worship the Lightweaver despite being born in an Ice clan and currently living in a Plague clan-- because of this, his role is to be an ambassador to Light Flight clans.

When it comes to intra-clan relations, he despises Morrow. It's not because of the necromancer's unsavoury personality, but because he's a Pearlcatcher who bosses a pair of zombie Imperials around all day. As an Imperial who strongly believes that the Lightweaver prefers his breed to their cousins, the idea of an inferior dragon having control over the corpse of a member of his noble species outrages him.

One would think that a dragon like Akrel would choose a fellow Imperial as a mate, but instead he's paired with the ever-festive Tundra Evergreen and is quite smitten with her. Go figure. 		51.png
