P E R S O N A L I T Y [ H O P E F U L ] Even though Platina's situation is the opposite of cheerful, she makes the most out of her situation, deciding to see the better side of things rather than what is inevitable. She sees things in an optimistic view instead of what is expected. [ K I N D ] This female Imperial shows a generous as well as compassionate nature, not letting her own injuries get in the way of her upbeat personality. She's friendly to most everyone she meets, though especially to Kemu. [ W I S H F U L ] Platina has a sort of desire for things to turn out alright in the end, the same as she thinks of her injury. She believes that, even though it's unlikely, maybe sometime in the future she'll get better. Platina isn't what you would call a normal dragon, not like the others anyway. Of course, she wasn't always this way. However events from her childhood caused her to be broken and lifeless and there were things she wasn't able to erase from her memory. Her body and soul were soon enough plagued and corrupted with disease, leaving her without a sane state of mind. Even though this terrified her and often left her twitching or rambling on about something, she's still herself. She still holds out hope for a cure from her disease though it seems impossible, she clings to what is still bright. As a result of the disease, she has been left partly paralyzed on her wings and crippled in her legs. This means she's unable to use her wings or hind legs and often times will end up falling. In addition, she has a wandering mind. Even so, she's been lucky in her endevours. She came across a male spiral that has aided and loved her through her troubles in the clan. It was somewhere she could call home with him. Kemu "How are you feeling?" Kemu asked softly, looking down at her. She seemed to be unresponsive for the most part currently, it was a day she wasn't feeling as hopeful, a day he would continue to be there for her. He waited a few minutes, and when he didn't get a response, he spoke once more. "Platina? Hey?" He murmured, a concerned look crossing his face. "Sorry, Kemu... It's... Just a little tough some days." She offered, a faint smile crossing her face before she laid her head against him once more. She was cheerful usually but only let Kemu see this kind of side to her. "I'm alright, don't worry." He gave a light laugh, nuzzling against her. "You know I always worry, even when you tell me not to." Platina rolled her eyes, nudging him back a little to show him that she was still listening. "I know you do but it can't hurt to try sometimes, right?" She asked rhetorically with a shrug. "You're right, it just won't change." He whispered back, kissing her forehead as she pulled closer to him. "The fact I love you doesn't change either." He offered to soften her mood more. "Jeez Kemu..." She uttered out, hiding her face in him with a small fluster. "I love you too."

Don't Underestimate Me

What most dragons don't understand is that dragons of the Malware subspecies can still feel.

Platina knows this better than most, because she was born of the Plague. She doesn't recognize the fact that she is a Malware dragon though. Dragons who go to the Ashfall Waste for all sorts of reasons, and the clan that Platina chose to stay in knows that better than most.

She hides it well, though. Platina has absolutely no intention of going back to the wasteland that is the Plaguebringer's domain, and she makes it clear with every breath she takes. They stopped teasing her after that, when they realized that she wasn't much of a target.

Too unfeeling, they said, hiding their mirth and laughter.

But Platina knows, and she doesn't much care. There is beauty in survival and in more ways than one, Platina is a Plague dragon, focused on survival and living to see another day.

What she doesn't know is that most dragons are-despite not knowing it themselves-Plague dragons.

Because there is beauty and then there is survival, and she is a deadly mix of both.
