You are enjoying a quiet walk through the woods when you hear the birds go quiet. Uneasiness settles over you as the atmosphere of the surrounding area changes from peaceful to tense. You soldier on and pick up your pace, eager to leave the isolation of the woodland path behind in the bustle of civilization. You see the end of the path in sight and break into a nervous run, but just before you break from the treeline, a Spiral drops down in front of you and yells, "Boo!" Then he flies away laughing.

You don't find it funny as you catch your breath and slow your terrified heart. He may have been born on April Fool's Day, but does this dragon always have to act like a Fool?



You hear thrashing from off the path you are walking in the shadowed woods. It sounds desperate and you push through the underbrush to investigate. Before long, you come across a Spiral thrashing around, hands around his own throat in the universal sign for choking. You must help this noble creature! You run to him and reach out to investigate his mouth, only to have him pull away, laughing. With a frustrated sigh, you remember this dragon was born on April Fool's Day, as he flies away. His laughter is carried back to you on the wind for too long.
