Elwen is a Magna Principissa of Percussorem by the right of her mother Eureka, the Prime Matron and Imperatrix. She reigns as Achiducissa of Arcarius (Treasurer), Marchionissa of Elwen, Baronissa of Eureka, and an XXV. She is currently 463 years old.

In her youth she had an affair with the Marquess Gannicus. It was short lived and resulted in great heartache and misfortune for Elwen who lost Gannicus and the pair's two hatchlings during Earth's first Great Dominance War.

The loss compelled Elwen to become the fiercest warrior. She joined Percussorem's warrior class and became a Striker. As is tradition with Strikers, Elwen trained in a pair, not the typical triple. Her Comrade was Baro Ragnar. The two developed a great and powerful friendship. Unlike many warriors, the both survived their Training and never had to change Comrades. Elwen and Ragnar became warriors of the XXV class, earning themselves their own titles of Marchionissa and Marquess. For this great accomplishment she was bestowed a Tiger Gene by the Earthshaker.

To sooth her pain her mother tried to entice her with a beautiful Skydancer named Auctus. The two quickly produced three hatchlings Anna, Savir, and Prophecy, but after the death of their father in a tragic warrior-in-training accident, the three left Percussorem on their Search. Anna landed in the Shifting Expanse, but naught has been heard of her in many years. Savir found her home in the Starfall Isles where she sends letters to Elwen once a year. Elwen is closest to Prophecy. She stayed within Dragonhome and has become a renowned Warrior of the highest class: XXV. At this rare feat the two are equal and share a great respect and compassion for the other.

Elwen was soon Mated to Baro Boromir of the Strikers, XII. Though the Mating was originally a political allegiance, the two quickly grew to love and respect one another. The two have hatched 22 hatchlings. However, due to such high hatchling mortality rates, only two males have ever survived to adulthood. Those also passed away in the Dominance Wars, too eager to uphold their parent's claim to war. After Elwen lost her twentieth hatchling, the Earthshaker bestowed her the Spine Gene to honor her sacrifice.

Ragnar fell in battle while Training new recruits. His death maimed Elwen forever and she and her Mate Boromir fell apart; the cavern between them too great. She enjoys keeping a watchful eye on Ragnar's grandson Horus.

She has since found great comfort in her new Mate Brawler, Imperator of Percussorem, Marquess of Brawler, and an XXV Striker. Although the match was the strongest political alliance the clan had ever seen, the two have since found solace in one another: helping to soothe over old wounds.
