Gossip.
Krista is often the first one to welcome newcomers to the clan. Partially she does this to make sure everyone is briefed on how things are run around here, partially to get an idea of what kind of a person the new face around is.

While she has a reputation when it comes to keeping secrets, Krista is probably among the more discreet of gossipperes you can find. Lots of thing she keeps to herself, which leads to others sometimes speaking more than they meant to if they lull themselves in the thought that no one else will (probably) know.
