Cloud came into this world far from here, in a small Wind clan. When it became apparent he was highly poisonous, he was sent on his way once he could fend for himself. He resented this, but kept his birth name as a token, showing that he can handle what they thought he couldn't.

When he heard of the rumors of a deity among a clan, he went to speak with them, hoping they could remove the poison on his hide. When he was rejected, he sulked for days on end, before resigning himself to his fate. He contemplated leaving, but something wanted him to stay. A passing thought of maybe his Charge had to do with this clan, but he shook it away, for he was not yet of age.

Strychnos is the only dragon who will stay near him, maybe because he can handle Cloud's noxious fumes. He tries to teach Cloud how to control it, so as he can be near other dragons and susceptible plants, but it is not going so well.

Whenever Taarie comes through the clan, his eyes always wander towards her. He does not understand why, and is embarrassed because of it, but few notice, and those who do don't say anything. He keeps to himself, watching the others, and working on controlling his poisonous hide.
