Erebus, born of darkness and cannot love. A Deity who only seeks to consume light and control what it can't consume. Stripping conscience and turning everything he desires into puppets. He is an unparalleled Deity much like Kalthzagar.

The first war that the realm of Architects would experience was one fought against the very two that sought to understand each other and created everything we have now. Light and Dark. Kalthzagar the Deity of Light and Erebus the Deity of Dark would clash in a cataclysmic event of destruction.

Erebus wielding the very talons of darkness would create a violent storm that consumed all light and converted those powerful enough to withstand it into puppets that would fight for him. Since the creations of light were immortal, consuming them or controlling them were the only ways Erebus could get stronger to break the light and control it. Kalthzagar was his main target. He was alone in the war fighting against countless of his own precious creations forced by Erebuses dark control and felt great excitement from Kalthzagars struggle. Creating unbearable sadness within Kalthzagar he was breaking him slowly. As Erebus fought Kalthzagar day and night. He was awe struck by the amount of resistance Kalthzagar was putting up and found it exciting that the Deity of light was as powerful as him. He sought to control Kalthzagar. He did understand how Kalthzagar could experience love for the things he created. He only saw them as tools to be used.

Kalthzagar would come to find it incredibly futile to make Erebus understand what it means to be an Architect and the love of creation. He knew that Erebus was not born with the ability to create and was born only with the ability to destroy.

The war would cause many eons of creation to be annihilated and in the end the conflict would end in stalemate. Both Deities pushed to their limits and exhausted from years of fight. Erebus using the last amounts of dark power he could muster summoned the souls of all he controlled and consumed it within himself becoming an infinite darkness and covered the universe in black. Laughing as the hope in Kalthzagar's eyes died as Erebus stood boastful and energized.

Kalthzagar would draw from the ancient light within his very soul. Meant to create and turned it into a weapon to destroy. He engulfed himself in light so bright it evaporated the darkness around him in an instant. Kalthzagar focusing his gaze onto Erebus spoke and said in the final moment that he would make Erebus understand what it means to love creation rather then to destroy it.

Kalthzagar released the ancient light in one burst of raw and infinite light that reduced Erebus to nothing but his soul stripping the souls he consumed setting them free as they vanished in the light. Kalthzagar breaking the command of light slowly began to lose his power fast and age. He sought to create one final thing before he lost his ability to.

Using Erebus's soul which was violently thrashing with dark globs holding it down by light peered into Kalthzagars eyes watching Kalthzagar grow immensely old every second. He extracted the pure darkness of Erebus that was not filled with violence and utter desire to destroy. He crafted a soul from it and gave it form. Kalthzagar spoke and said. This is Nito, your son and would you not love him which had came from you?

Erebus taken by this surprise. Felt a sensation he'd never felt before and realized. This was what it meant to love. Erebus's violent thrashing ceased as his conscience sought answers to this emotional outcome.

Kalthzagar then spoke and said. His son would die and be the first death you will ever experience upon yourself. You've taken so much of mine stripping their conscience and controlling their empty bodies. Your dark violent soul cannot exist inside of this pure one. Nito would then be torn apart by light and be destroyed becoming a black clutter of darkness splattered on the ground slowly evaporating.

Erebus fell to despair and began to sought repentance for what he did. He beckoned to Kalthzagar who had fell onto the ground. His body weak and old now suffering from the consequence of breaking the commands of light. He turns to Erebus and tells him to sacrifice himself and be reborn so that you can live forever and come to know what I felt and come to enjoy. I still wish that for you since I cannot come to hate the dark that I loved.

Erebus would infuse his soul without hesitation and reforge the soul of Nito into a Dragon of Darkness. A fragment of himself as a young child who would now live and learn in the world of light.
