Biography
Born to a pair of slaves in Plague’s chaotic Clan Bloodbane, this young imperial has lived a rough, unstable life thus far. His father, a veteran pit fighter, feared the worst and distanced himself emotionally from hatchlings. His mother took a different approach: nurturing, teaching, preparing her children for whatever fate may bestow upon them. She taught them to fish, to care for animals, to be kind. When they grew old enough to sell, she watched with a heavy heart as the trading caravan took them away to new lives. |

Adon entered the clan in a bad way - sickly and scared from his time travelling with the caravans. There was supposedly a Beastclan attack while they travelled, but whether not this is actually true Adon will not say. Quickly taken in by the Clan's resident flower child Angel Adon is working hard to try and understand the strange new world he finds himself in. It will take him a while to understand that there are no slaves within the clan. For the moment he is still waiting for Angel to turn a suggestion into an order. Adon spends most of his time tending to the more finicky details of Angel's garden. He finds it soothing to care for the plants that are the most picky about their growing conditions. At one point Adon was approached by Aleta. She was hoping to find a like mind in the plague Imperial but her aggressive personality and lack of care for her clan mates caused Adon to call out for Angel, who quickly chased the witch away. Although he was afraid of what Aleta was planning he spoke to no one about the encounter, too afraid to speak out against such a long standing clan member. When stressed or upset Adon tends to lash out at whoever is closest - something very dangerous given his size. His attacks are mostly defensive, and if left alone to uncurl he will generally wait out any panic attacks in peace. |
Despite his rough upbringing, Adon's mother was the one who raised him, and did not teach him to fight the way his father might have had he not been so afraid to care for his offspring. The Imperial is animalistic in his fighting style, screaming and clawing more than aiming the way a more experienced fighter would. There is a reason he spends so much time hidden away from everyone but Angel - he is near unable to defend himself in a way that would not maim him in some way. Adon loves the soft things in life - silks, furs and gossamer fabrics as well as petals and fragile leaves. His choice to outfit himself in red is as close to his birth flight as he gets. Although illiterate, Adon can often be found listening to others read from the many books stashed away in their lairs. |
