Biography

Dancing in the dark Orran was a quiet hatchling who listened to what his parents wanted from him, always making sure that he was making them proud at the expense of his own happiness. As he grew older, he became a pushover, letting his former mate Wann walk all over him. For years he never experienced joy in what he was doing, and he seemed to be completely powerless to the situation he was in. Then, one day, Wann passed in an airship accident and Orran was left to wonder who he was in the aftermath of the tragedy. He wandered for a time, making his way eventually to Bridgecourt where the Innkeep Glaspell took him under their wing personally to ensure that Orran could find himself. Though his parents pushed their love of dance on him from a young age, Orran's true love was story telling. With help from Fable, Bridgecourt's bard, Orran turned that love into a power. For the first time in his life, Orran's elemental power manifested in his ability to conjure golden particles that, as he danced and narrated, would form pictures of the scene he was telling. His power enticed both hatchlings and dragons alike who were in awe at this new way of watching a story take place in front of them. Now, Orran is a vibrant and bubbly performer who is living life to the fullest. He spends lots of time traveling around Sornieth, but always seems to find his way back to either Bridgecourt to visit Glaspell and Fable, or Silverwind to visit a multitude of friends who have helped him in his journey to independence. |
