Aen founded the Pardian Clan several years ago, after stumbling upon two abandoned eggs deep in the Shrieking Wilds of the Viridian Labyrinth. She was exploring with her familiar, her loyal Parda, and they were not searching for anything in particular. Rather, they had never left the relative safety of her birthplace in the Sunbeam Ruins, and were curious about the outside world. Aen had been raised in a crowded lair and had a sheltered childhood. Her Parda had been a gift from her parents upon reaching adulthood.

Thus, the duo found themselves meandering through the Shrieking Wilds. Aen, at only a few months old, was an adult but not yet full grown, and much smaller than the resident wildclaws. Therefore, she took her time in exploring this new wilderness, preferring to take her time above stumbling into someone’s hidden lair (or worse, their hatchery). It was because of this cautious approach that the quiet squeaks of a hatchling about to break free of its egg reached Aen’s ears. She was immediately on the alert, wary of disturbing a dragon’s nest but concerned for the well being of the hatchling. Tracking the sound, her Parda stalking swiftly at her side, Aen approached a tree that had been hollowed out, likely by lightning judging by the scorched scars on its trunk. The source of the noises was obvious - and there was not just one but two abandoned nature eggs inside the tree. They were both brown and round, with small leaves growing out the top, but had been placed haphazardously into the tree, one upside down and neither with any protection or insulation.

Aen, eyes narrowed and mind made up with little debate, gathered the two eggs carefully into her bag and took off, her Parda jumping easily onto her back for the journey. She flew towards her birthplace, in the redwood forests of the Sunbeam Ruins, because she knew that she would be able to better defend and raise the hatchlings there. Despite the fact that she was little more than a hatchling herself, she was determined to protect the unknown dragons and give them a safe welcome to the world of Sornieth.
