Clot Rank : Heir Consort Flight : Ice/Plague | Occupation | ________________________________________ Clot is an unusual mix of soft and sharp all rolled into a blood-splattered Wildclaw. After growing up far from the sun, she knows how to fight fiercely to get what she wants, and has a temper that can spring to life at any moment. But she is also kind, and gentle to plants, animals, and any dragon that also treats her with kindness. While wandering the outskirts of the Wandering Contagion she was discovered by a Bloodbane patrol; luckily for her, it was the clan leader's son, Gnash, and his assistant: both mild dragons compared to the other trappers and border patrols she might've had the misfortune of stumbling across. She immediately caught Gnash's eye, and he invited her back to the clan, promising her a home, a community, and a future. The two grew close, and though they share more of a close friendship than a romantic love, a union was proposed. Clot and Gnash are a powerful couple, balancing each other well. Clot brings a sense of ambition and drive to the otherwise laid-back Gnash, and Gnash gives her peace, security, and an opportunity to travel and explore. She finds his eccentrices to be endearing, and he is content to defer to Clot's leadership. Clot isn't completely sure how she feels about Bloodbane and its many unsavory business dealings, but she has found a place in the clan nonetheless, and she sees the chance to use her position to influence change, both now and in the future. She has a particular love for plants, and tends to a small flower garden outside her lair. 
History: This fierce young lump of blood and bone was born in the depths of the network of half-living flesh and musty earth that sprawls at the bottom of Clan Caedis's canyon. She grew up feeding on rotted meat and insects, never seeing the sun until she sought it out for herself, along with her twin sister and the young guardian Iracunda. The three of them ran across the frozen plains of their homeland in the fading light of evening, feet cold but minds racing, chasing after whatever new thing caught their attention. Unfortunately, they came upon one of the guards of the main clan, who saw their colors and smelt their reek, and knew them for children of Plague dragons. He hounded them through the growing dark, clawing and taunting mercilessly, until the Imperial Praelia heard their cries. It was a sight that they will never forget- the vast, pale dragon looming out of the shadows and pinning their aggressor to the ground, before scooping up the injured Iracunda with careful claws. No matter how far they travel from Ice, these sisters will never forget their rescuer... and she will never forget them. *Note: this dragon comes with ties to an important dragon in Clan Caedis, and can seek aid from them in cases of emergency, or if they have questions. |
