Born in the Tangled Wood, Naern grew among the most terrible of tricksters, picking up their ability of pranks and even putting his own flair on them.

Naern, like most hatchlings, grew up loving the pranks of his flight. Along with pranking, he soon grew to love alchemy and potion brewing. Soon enough, his pranks consisted of exploding smoke bombs embroidered with enchantments and spells.

Naern, now located in his new clan, is the alchemist and potion maker of the clan. Though his brewing lair is a bit of a mess, he creates many of the much needed items by his clan. Though, his trickster days are not over. Naern has created many enemies in his clan by his little "pranks." While delivering the products of his brewing to the dragons, he likes to sneak in little items. These little items tend to be round and made of glass, and also tend to explode as the package jostles, leaving a smokey and sparkly mess wherever the glass bulb burst. Whichever poor dragon came into the crossfire would then be cursed with a harmless but still annoying spell, having to make their way down to his lair where glares would be met with his chuckling grins.

One dragon, also born among tricksters, enjoys his pranks. His mate Carina often finds these "jokes" quite hilarious as well. Despite the obvious feelings of annoyance given by other dragons, Carina also seems to lack empathy for the victims of his pranks. Often times one may find Naern and Carina laughing together in his brewing lair, either from a previous prank or one set in motion.
