Biography
Deities of Wor'entha
Neche
Daughter of Naller and Craiss, Neche rules over the place where her fathers' domains meet. Goddess of swamps, estuaries, brackish water, and dead water, where her fathers' domains are full of life, Neche's is a place of pestilence and death. Her creation came about when the Void Queen, goddess of antithesis, grew tired of Naller's and Craiss' constant bickering over who ruled the domain where the sea and rivers met. Seeking an end to the conflict that would satisfy neither party, she created Neche and dumped her on the two aquatic gods. This achieved the desired affect of halting the arguments, as well as deeply confused and bewildered the god of the seas and the god of the rivers. Even more so when Neche turned out to be what the other gods describe as, ''creepy as hell''. With her blank, unblinking stare and complete lack of emotion, her presence is rather unsettling, and that's before she opens her mouth and starts droning in her monotone voice about death and dying things. Most of the gods tend to avoid her, including her own fathers. The only ones who have no problems interacting with her are Hissine and Zarele, the two deities of the dead and undead respectively-- also creations of the Void Queen (and more examples of the ''Empty Queen's'' habit of solving problems in the most unsatisfactory way possible).
