Loyal bodyguard and scout

For a coatl born to Fire, the Southern Icefields may seem a peculiar place to call home. Yet, despite the cold, Alistair is perfectly at ease in the Icewarden's domain. The reason for this is simple: the Icefields is where his heart is.

The center of gravity in Alistair's life is Dionys, the clan leader. To be sure, in most clans with well-respected leaders, many clanmembers would describe their leader as an important part of daily life. It's different for Alistair, who can scarce remember a time when his heart did not overflow with love for Dionys. Once he'd understood his feelings for his leader, life became much simpler for Alistair: he would do anything for Dionys, even follow him to the coldest place on Sornieth. Which is precisely what he did.

Alistair is content with his station in life. He has his Fire magic with which to amuse himself and others -- as well as use in defense of his leader, should it ever come to that. His dedication and eye for detail make it easy for him to double as a clan scout. He's dependable, loyal, and above all will do whatever Dionys requires of him. Alistair trusts his leader implicitly -- and it warms him more than any flame to know the trust is mutual.
