Moksha Former Clan Matriarch |
_____ |
↠ Gender: female ↠ Orientation: pansexual, aro ↠ Breeding: Izgrejala ↠ Lover: none |
↠ Alignment: Neutral Good ↠ Birthclan: the Caravanserai ↠ Birthplace: the Hewn City ↠ Faction: Aristrocracy, Priesthood |
━━━━━━━ Role ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Moksha is the former leader of the Caravanserai. After the clan left its original capital near the Hewn City, her health started to decline, afflicted by some strange magical illness. She eventually had to step down as a Matriarch without a clear heir in line for succession. She currently lives in seclusion in Kothos, Dragonhome, where what is left of her royal entourage is working at finding a cure for her affliction.
━━━━━━━ Background ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━ Relations ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
━━━━━━━ Wildbeasts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Wildbeast dragons originate from hybrids of Light and Earth dragons in the North and East of Sornieth, where they remain most common; struck by wanderlust, the first wildbeasts were outcasts from both flights, unfit for the sedentary life of monument-builders and classical scholars. Once formed, the first wildbeast clans initially took refuge into the Veridian Labyrinth and this is the reason most wildbeasts developed a more primal nature than their flights of origin. They tend towards an ascetic lifestyle and are a nomadic breed, living in small to medium packs and never carrying more than necessary with them. Wildbeasts do value the pursuit of truth more than other dragons, however they do not believe this should be confined to library halls or the study of ancient ruins; wisdom comes from all paths of experience. Lorekeepers and storytelling are essential to the preservation and transmission of wildbeast knowledge. |
As wildbeasts have dispersed over centuries, they can be found in other regions and in any elemental flight. In modern times, some wildbeast have subjected themselves to breedchange and turned into Ancients; however the subspecies did not originate with Ancient breeds, all wildbeasts who are Ancients today can be trace back to an ancestor from Modern stock.
━━━━━━━ Hatchling Lore ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
On very rare occasions a youngling may get lost far away from the lair before their time has come to leave - this is usually the case with those masters of trade that travel regularly and take their apprentices along with them, such as any profession likely to be part of one of the clan's caravans. Such an unfortunate loss is always mourned, but the master is rarely to blame - Sornieth is a very dangerous world, after all, and the clan's caravans are regularly under attack, not to mention naturally occuring disasters that may happen around the trading routes. |
