Lotus spent her life as pampered as a princess by her parents, so overjoyed to have a daughter of their own between their sons. As much as they loved all their children they favored her seemingly the most, and she would grow to run from their favoritism to spend time with her brothers who often went exploring together. They would all come back home an absolute mess, Lotus being the one to get the most gasps from their parents at her dirtied state. Her years with her brothers continued on like this until they had left for their own paths in life, and Lotus couldn't follow where they were going much to her disappointment, but she had taken to dancing instead of exploring and found she loved it very much.

Her life continued with her charming many dragons with her dancing and flirtatious attitude, but one night she had a dream that almost landed her in the claws of a beast she could hardly comprehend, even in the dream she had feared that it would kill her in real life as well. But Lotus was rescued by an imperial named Poet, who she at first thought was just part of the dream she was experiencing but came to learn that he was very real, he'd proved it as he traveled to the clan of Fallen Leaves. Poet hardly left her side when he arrived there, and they would take part in lucid dreaming as they had when they had met and he had saved her life; there's never been a bad dream since she met the lovely Dream Walker that she now calls her mate.
