HUFFLE ➢ Sculptor || he / him ════════════════════════════════════════════ Huffle is a crafter of the sculpting type, carving magnificent dragons from stone and the great pink crystals that sprout from the Arcane earth like trees. They range from tiny little dragon rings to the largest sculptures to place at the hearths of a clan's camp. He takes his work leisurely, yet seriously, taking his time to make it the finest craftsmanship he can- even if it means his work is late. He's close friends with Sapphique, and for a long time also dabbled in the art of magic as the other spiral had. He learned many spells on helping the stone he was carving shape and grow, adding tiny details and perfect curves and niches. However, he also was exploring much darker arts. He craved to find a way to bring his statues to life, the ultimate feat of craftsmanship. Sapphique warned him not to, that it was too dangerous. They got into a huge fight that ended up with Huffle leaving the clan entirely in his search of the spell. He settled down at the edges of Wind territory, in the Zephyr Steppes that housed him until he could finish his work. He contacted Vultera, the dark arts master of the clan in pursuit of his knowledge. She happily provided the knowledge to create life from his works. He quickly set about gathering the ingredients and craving the most beautiful thing he could, fashioned of the purest rose quartz with eyes made from polished prehnite in the shape of a Spiral dragon. He worked for months to perfect each and every detail, every scale, tooth, and claw, what he deemed his best creation yet. When the time came he set up the circle, lined with the broken bodies of death seekers and various other dark ingredients required to bring the stone to life. He watched with wide eyes as the stone cracked, wings flexing, mouth opening to let loose a horrible scream. It writhed in agony, taking in shuddering breaths and blinking it's large eyes. The spell nearly killed him, half of his soul being transferred to his art as it breathed in life. The spiral was like a hatchling, unable to speak or even walk properly. He taught her the basics of dragon life, feeding her and introducing her to the clan. Many frowned upon his dark arts, but he assured them it would not happen again. If he did, it would surely kill him, as he couldn't sacrifice more of his life force. His creation named herself Nesrin, inspired after the rose quartz she was made from. Huffle quickly grew fond of her and she of him, and it wasn't long before they became mates. The Wind dragons that had welcomed him were wary already, and when he declared the other his mate they fully rejected him. Shunned, he decided to return to the one place that accepted him; Starwings. Upon his arrival, the clan welcomed him and Nesrin with open arms and open hearts, giving him a lovely den in a winding cave of the focal point. Since then he has continued his work, and has had many children with his lovely mate, all of which have gone off to explore the world. | x |
