The Weapon

Let not Light see my Black and Deep Desires ____________ Shepherd was created by the Shadowbinder as a weapon against the Shade during the Dark Days. The powers of both of these Entities reside within him, swelling in a pit of darkness and only peeking through during his weakest hours. Shep is a hybrid by design, though some say he is more machine than Wildclaw due to his cold disposition. He was brought into this world as a Soldier and nothing more, he never learned how to convey his emotions or even interpret them. The purpose of the S H E P project was to create a being that simultaneously attracted and trapped the Shade. The shiny, dark splotches across his body are evidence of the Shade seeping through his metalloid exterior. Upon the destruction of the Shade Shepherd was no longer of use and was promptly decommissioned for being a threat to public safety. When the Arcanist created the Araceli realm he took pity on the Shaded Wildclaw; moving him to Makenas' home to be taught how to live and cope with his disease. Shepherd is the second being to be in the Araceli realm, and closet friend to Makena. He is considered a Co-Leader and prominent member of the Council.  |
