_________ Wisteria's family was in power before Cariana's took over generations ago, and he would have been next in line to be king. He was groomed since he was a child to lead an uprising against Cariana's family, and to eventually fulfil his birthright. His speech, his mannerisms, even the way he moves -- everything about him is dripping with a sense of power and nobility.

That said, he's been pampered and revered his whole life, so he's having a real hard time making do in a dingy cursed forest. He's a huge germaphobe, and his disdain for things like dirt and bugs borders on comical at times. He has no practical skills whatsoever.

Wisteria’s childhood was cold and lonely. He was raised to be suspicious of everyone, and he was always told not to get too attached to people. Even his siblings turned on him after his parents passed away and he became the next heir to the throne. Understandably, he has a lot of trouble connecting with others… though, it’s not like he’s ever really had the opportunity to do so.

That is, until Mae found out about his identity. Sure, she's a little shady, but this is the first time he's ever been able to let his guard down around someone like this, and he's never had a friend before. He’s so happy to finally open up to someone else that he either doesn’t notice or refuses to see Mae’s true intentions.

For years, he managed to conceal his family history and work his way up to be one of the princess’s advisors, but despite his refined and royal appearance, Wisteria has trouble believing in himself. It’s his duty to overthrow the current royal family, and he’s been preparing to do since the day he hatched, but is he ready to be king? Is he even worthy of the crown? Cariana’s family is made up of legitimately good leaders. Can he live up to that?

Wisteria's feelings about Princess Cariana are complicated. He desperately wants to fulfil his birthright, and Cariana and her family stand directly in the way of that. But after spending years as her advisor and then being trapped together with her, he's actually grown to care for her like a little sister. She has a good head on her shoulders and genuinely cares about her subjects, but behind her tough exterior is someone who struggles with her self-worth just like he does. Wisteria may be ambitious, but he's not cold. He couldn't hate her no matter how hard he tried -- and believe me, he tried.

Mae has been whispering the unthinkable, and he wants so badly to resist her temptations, but she isn't telling him anything he hasn't already told himself at one point. He can't become king while Cariana is still alive. Her entire bloodline needs to be wiped out before he can assume power.

...But can he really bring himself to murder her? 		________
