Johanna is Zooey's best friend and the best fighter around. Although he may be the main fighter, she always has the first hit and the finishing blow. Johanna is a traveler and has found herself, on occasion, very far from home, but she makes the best of it. She is kind, but jaded and cynical, although not to a fault. Johanna often misses her family from long ago, so Zooey bought her a parrot to keep her company.
