Biography

Glorinda was hatched too late to celebrate the Arcanist's week of dominance over the other elemental deities; too late to contribute to the Gladekeeper's victory over the Lightweaver. But her parents told her stories of helping travelers learn to fight well to serve the deities, and while still in the egg she heard them reminiscing together as they watched over their nest. She set off to join a Light clan who was seeking more warriors, though she herself was not yet a warrior, and together with another new arrival (coincidentally also Arcane by birth) she began to learn to be a trainer of warriors.
Shortly after she began her training, she noticed all sorts of strange desert plants sprouting from her scales. They aren't painful or even itchy, so she hasn't disturbed them; she doesn't mind that birds and bees sometimes come to visit, and it's convenient to have snacks growing out of one's own back. Now that she is a full-time trainer of warriors, a Mire Maven, one might say, she is often accompanied on her journeys into the Mire by a befriended Molten Wartoad that she raised herself from a Molten Tadpole.
She, her beloved awakened Molten Wartoad, and Cheris the mathemagician encountered another Molten Wartoad in the Mire, and despite her companions' help she was rendered unconscious. When she awakened, her gembond gems had been seared away! Molten Sludge
