~The early morning dew clung to her fur, as black as midnight. Dawn had arrived as the tundra quietly slipped out of the lair. She didn't dare to fly, her wings would make too much noise and perhaps wake one of the clan guards, fearsome wildclaws dubbed 'The Punishment Squadron', or worse. She might wake him up. Her current mate, Lancelot. She didn't have the heart to tell him it was over; arranged marriages seldom work. She had already told him she was unhappy, and had left him a note.~

~After she had ran for nearly an hour, she finally unfurled her wings and set to the sky. In her new lair, she looks forward to a new love and a happy life. Maybe being the 'den mother' would be a good position? All thoughts of the future flooded into her mind as she rose higher in the air to meet the sun.~
