Kias - The Artist

One would think that Earth would be the last place any artist would go for inspiration. Their first flight of choice would most likely be Nature, or even Wind. But Kias thinks differently than others. This Lighting dragon loves to think outside of the box. His unconventional ways have lead to a lot of great creations. Because of his great and unique ideas, Kias has become to be known as a great artist. He doesn't specialize in just one type of art either. His work ranges from painting to sculpting, to even abstract art. There have been times where Kias has dabbled in a bit of writing too, but he prefers hands on and visual art.

Kias' favorite spot to go for inspiration is Greatwyrm's Breach. He often brings his art supplies and goes off to the breach whenever he feels like it. More often than not, he's absent for the morning roll call because he left early in the morning. This is because the sunrise and sunset in the breach is one of the most beautiful scenes Kias has ever seen. He believes that he will never be able to capture the raw beauty, but tries whenever he can. Most of his inspiration comes from sitting on one of the ledges and simply staring off into the abyss. The peace and quiet, on top of the beautiful scenery can be a great place for Kias to brainstorm.

Another place that Kias one day hopes to visit is the Pillar of the World. His clan is far away from this mysterious area and it would take almost a week to even get there. Kias often debates to himself in his head whether or not the trip is worth it. Some of his clan members have offered to accompany him on the journey, which always makes Kias feel warm and welcomed in the clan. But despite all the offers, Kias wishes to visit the place alone so that maybe he'll make his greatest piece of art yet.

Eventually, Kias wants to travel from clan to clan to show all dragonkind all the pieces of art he's created. Not to sell for profit (although that would be a nice bonus and he would take the offer if anyone offered) but to share his creations with everyone else. To hopefully inspire some young, upcoming artist just like him. Maybe he'll ignite a young hatchling's imagination, or even bring a smile to some dragon's face. And if that doesn't work, a little pun hidden within the piece of art is always a option too.
