╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Hailed flight: Lightning Legacy: Leader of the Freedom Fighters at the Battle of Light Crack Long has been the time since peace had nested in the heart of the Goldweaver kingdom. This night was the night that it would be restored; through death or injury, it would be done. Kalani had been conditioned for this battle. Her energy trickled from every scale, Kalani's very cuticles sparked as the electric essence expelled from deep within her. This night was not going to be easy but no battle was ever easy. A sound shattered the fragile silence within Kalani's tent. In peaked a small spiral with wild red eyes that could only belong to her adopted brother, Kled. What he lacked in stature he made up in vigor, his thirst for life was almost as strong as his willpower. Adored and feared, he was Kalani's wing man ever since the beginning of the rebellion. "Hey girlie, the crew could use a word from their new leader." Rising from her mat, Kalani looked into Kled's eyes begging-- is this really happening? As if he could hear her expression, his eyes grew dark. Yes, and you ARE ready. Dawning the regalia inherited from her mother, Kalani followed Kled out of the tent to the fire where her force was gathered. Storm clouds hung above the entirety of The Lightning far, the ready to sing their own chorus in the forthcoming siege. "Tonight ends our long time suffering under the rule of the Goldweavers. No longer shall we suffer under the claws of those that signify only the flight that they are hailed under. No longer shall the Light scorch our eyes and clip our wings for the nest that we were born in. Tonight we march on Light Crack and will tear down the walls that has been kept confined and isolated from the greater realm. ---tbc" Ascending the castle walls, Kalani along with her small band of infiltrators had to act with both swiftness and precision in order to bring the last stand to a quick end before the conflict left too many of her comrades injured.
