Biography
Formely known as Pyrite.
Void Drake of Loss
~~~~~~~~
Was once the lord of Dragonhome, and was one of the youngest lords ever when he received the throne, leading to a reign of being called "The Boy King" and relying mostly on the Queen of the Tangled Woods (Noctuae), Garnet and the now undead Emperor Nitrate.
After Nitrate's mate Glyssiel was killed, Pyrite stole some of her ashes and made a diamond out of them with his earth magic. However, Pyrite's wishes and thoughts corrupted the beautiful gem, creating a shadow of Glyssiel and drove him to insanity.
The dead Imperial's Emperor mate found out about the diamond, and in his rage attacked Pyrite. Garnet died in the commotion, and Pyrite accidentally turned himself to stone.
Nitrate took both the Diamond and the Stone statue from the earth palace, then threw away the diamond. He proceeded to hide the remain of the insane dragon.
Afterwards, the Emperor disappeared.
Pyrite wasn't dead however. The spell gone wrong should have killed any dragon, but the insane lord had poured too much of his thoughts and life force into the diamond. After years, the stone broke away, but what remained wasn't entirely what the Boy King had been.
The once beautiful, crystalline amber skin of the dragon had turned a shadowy blue, and the once bright wings had darken into shadows. The eyes that were once a proud brown were now a dull void.
This wasn't Pyrite, but rather a shadow of his former self, an insane monster who's only wish is to have his diamond back.
Arsenopyrite's life force is the diamond, and he will only die when the pretty gem does.
