Biography
Name: Meadow Status: Musician |
"The only audience I need are the clouds and the fireflies."
On the surface, Meadow is an open book, a Wildclaw found most often plucking a modest tune on her harp, usually beneath the shade of the Tangled Wood's pine trees. Her spontaneously performances begin and end on a whim, sometimes accompanied by Grace's hypnotic movements, or the recounting of Nectar's latest saga, though just as often they're done with only with the stars and the moonflowers for company.
There was one event, though, that stuck out from Meadow's otherwise simple image of a carefree musician. Wobble - the clan's Chromefeather Lookout - had been damaged, and with Russet away on a gathering mission, and Onça having no knowledge of how to treat the inorganic familiar, it appeared Wobble would have to wait with a spark-spitting wing until the clan's Lightning Flight Representative returned home. That was, until Meadow picked up the Nocturne's tools and with a shocking precision, repaired the damaged golem and recalibrated their voice box to boot.
Which of course prompted a whole host of questions when Russet did eventually return. To which Meadow explained she was the daughter of two highly esteemed roboticists from the Wiretangle Walk, and that in spite of spending her entire childhood working with golems, she threw it all away to become a bard making tunes in some out-of-the-way Shadow Flight clan. With a cocked head, Russet had asked her why she hadn't become a roboticist when it would have been so easy to follow in her parents footsteps, to which Meadow's answer was simple.
"Because I didn't want to."
