JR has long been acknowledged as the clan jokester. Practical jokester, that is. If he's not playing a joke on someone, he's talking loudly or laughing at his own jokes that aren't that funny to everyone. He's always making noise or bothering someone that wants to be on their own. However, he doesn't do it on purpose or to be mean. He's just super extroverted and can't stop himself. He's superbly optimistic and finds humor in everything.

Much later on, when Sorsha joined the clan and recruited various external and internal members for her 'Clan Band', later named 'Punk'd to Cuddle', JR was the first within the clan to agree to join as a guest performer. Although many members of the clan were happy to have a clan band, few were willing to participate. And many were actually shocked to see JR step up. But they shouldn't have been, really. He's always been loud and shameless. He was ecstatic to be able to sing on stage and rock out among other dragons that loved his clan as much as he!
