Tauriel is the closest thing to general that the clan has. Once quite the nomad, she met Fjord one evening and was immediately drawn to his quiet and simple style of leadership, and the quiet certainty and strength in the way he carried himself. Soon she was flying back and forth between her clan and his, establishing contact and friendship between the two. Eventually, she left her clan and settled with Fjord's, where she and her dear friend Pethos were welcomed easily. She is content to be where she is for now, and Pethos is attempting to convince her to stay where she is this time, certain that this is their home. Only time will tell. In the meantime, she is trusted envoy and often spends her days keeping an eye on things (especially Spinel) and bringing reports back to Fjord. He trusts her implicitly and has grown to rely on her knowledge of the surrounding clans and the world beyond theirs.

In her travels she occasionally finds young dragonets who have been lost, abandoned, or orphaned by the continued skirmishes over land and title that go on in the wide world. She invariably carries them back to the clan. Though Fjord was uncertain of the newcomers at first, Shella welcomed them all with open arms, and soon enough they were part of the family. They will be fine additions to Tauriel's command and to Fjord's lines of defense when they come of age. Until then, she mothers them as she would her own, second only to Shella, and she will consider them as older siblings to her own hatchlings.
